This will be one of the saints for my London exhibition(this Sept). Super psyched!

Unfinished Vanite

When finished this waxwork will be donated to the Morbid Anatomy benefit silent auction June 30th. If there is enough time I hope to do a few medical wax moulages as well. This piece is reminiscent of the Baroque Vanites. I will be casting worms, insects especially flies, probably a snake, and other things that are symbolic of death in this culture. Looking forward to working on this piece- Ought to be lots of fun!

Debauched queen "Oddities" Evan Michelson: still unfinished but a reveal none the less

Waxwork of Evan Michelson as "The Corrupt Queen", still a work in progress. I'm revamping the waxwork I did for the "Oddities" television shoot. This character is a much harsher more evil queen, which suits the character for the maze.

The 3 faces of Evan

These heads are from the same model, Evan Michelson of Obscura Antiques and hostess of the tv show "Oddities".  The middle one was used for "Oddities" and will air this Saturday, June 2nd on the Science channel in the USA.  I'm posting these photos to show different possibilities one has using a single model. Depending on what expression you want to changing actual features such as the shape of the nose etc. you can create any character your heart desires. I haven't done an enormous amount of alterations as of yet but...

Waxwork of Evan Michelson to be revealed

I will be airing on Oddities June 2nd at 9:00pm.  This is the unfinished  revamped waxwork of Evan as  the corrupt, debauched queen (will be complete by Saturday!) for my Hegemony maze...So Stay Tuned....
